Religion is always on the side of man,
of the poor and of the weak,
of tolerance and solidarity,
of love and peace...in short:
Religion is love of God
and love of the neighbor for God.

Since we all share
one Spirit through Baptism,
becoming one in the Body of Christ
let us drive to deepen the bounds
of fraternity and to show mutual love
and respect for all of God's creation.

May we reaffirm our commitment
to worship and pray together,
to serve one another more generously,
and to promote love and harmony
at home and in the community at large.

San Pablo Church in Marathon offers everyone the opportunity
under God's inspiration and grace, to begin again,
to build a better work, and to live a better life.
May God pour out His healing love on all humanity.
